Make a Difference Day on Saturday, September 12, 2026 is Sausalito’s citywide day of volunteer service — a single day when community organizations and neighbors come together to attend and care for the places we all share. The SWC is excited to participate in the event and the Club’s Rose Garden committee has already signed up to spruce up the rose garden located at the Northwest corner of Gabrielson Park. The garden is dedicated to Blanche Dunphy and the Sausalito Woman’s Club has maintained this rose garden over the years.
The are plenty of other opportunities for our club to participate in with all levels of skill. There are projects from dusting the bookshelves at the Sausalito Public Library to working with Southern Marin Fire pulling non native weeks along the path East of Bridgeway. There is something for everyone! Get your Jinx sisters together and sign up for a project. It will be fun!
