Ongoing Monthly Events

 

 

BRIDGE MARATHON ……………………………… 3rd Wednesday
10:00 am–2:00 pm through May
Find a partner and participate in a once-a-month Bridge Marathon. Each partnership plays 22 hands with a different team each month at the SWC. Bring a brown bag lunch. Prizes will be awarded in May to the highest scoring teams. You must commit to play each month or be responsible for a substitute.

$15 per person is charged for prizes when you sign up with your partner. Contact: Pat Boddy, Cis Muldoon, Kate Powell

 

BRIDGE ………………. 4th Monday, 6:00–9:00 pm through May
Get a partner, make up a foursome. Bring your own brown bag dinner and beverage. We have tables and cards and list of players, if needed. Contact: Holland Gray, Myra Berkowitz.

 

PICK-UP BRIDGE & OTHER GAMES …………….. Each Friday 9:45 am – Noon
A casual, weekly bridge game. No partner needed. Contact: Sharon Call, 729-9948 if you would like to play.

 

CRAFTS …………………………………………… 2nd & 4th Mondays – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
This group is open to all interested members and friends regardless of skill level. Bring your own project and learn from those more experienced, or teach a novice the techniques you have acquired over the years. Crafts have so far included knitting, crochet, needlepoint, embroidery, jewelry, patterns and sewing. Contact: Claire Collette, MaryAnn Dietrich, Wera Musaus.

 

MAH JONGG ………………………………… Mondays 1:00-5:00 pm, Tuesdays 1:00 -5:00 pm
Tuesdays 1:00-5:00 pm Everyone with some Mah Jongg experience is welcome to play. Players are encouraged to bring a Mah Jongg set to share. Contact: Claudia Kennedy

 

UKULELE GROUP ………….. 1st & 3rd Mondays 7:00–9:00 pm
Everyone is welcome, members, non-members, gentlemen. We are beginning to intermediate level players. We’ll teach you. Contact: Lillian Donald

 

YOGA  ………………………………………… Mondays 8:30–9:30 am
Club member, yoga teacher and therapist Rayner Needleman teaches an ongoing beginner level yoga class for the benefi of all SWC members. Bring an empty stomach, loose clothing and a sticky mat. Classes are free. Contact: Rayner Needleman
