HUNTER’S MOON EVENING TOUR OF ALCATRAZ

@Large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz will feature 7 site-specific installations by the Chinese conceptual artist and political activist, his interpretation of imprisonment and freedom. Carpool from SWC to the city, Hornblower Ferry leaves promptly at 6:30. Bring your picnic dinner or purchase food on the ferry. MARINSHIP HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR
An historical Marinship walk, led by an entertaining and knowledgeable docent, takes us back to the WWII shipyard that built Navy Liberty Ships and tankers. Many buildings and ship- launching railways are still standing and in use. Meet at the Bay Model, tour is 90 minutes. Bring a $5 donation for the Bay Model.
